had me christmas do at work today... free beer and as it turns out a pubquiz

anyhoo..i sucked at most of the pubquiz... but they had a round about f1 and italian car makes....hence the wooden box

ive always wanted a wooden box

(they also gave me a bigly box of snackages...wich i had the intern deliver to my doorstep..heheheh...hes a good kid :p)(seriously....dudes gonna be earning the big bucks when he graduates)

aaaaaand...i got a $700 end of year bonus

thats fuckin awesome (i know a good chunk of oppo is highly educated and earning the big bucks..buts thats an extra weeks wages to me...awesome this time of year)

so..whilst my bosses will happily overwork me to death...at least they are pretty generous :)

My family is super into restaurant/pub trivia. We’re part of a league and everything, and we always make it to the state finals which has a grand prize of $5,000. Most we’ve won at a single event is $300, though, but that was enough to get us into the national $100,000 tournament.... where we absolutely bombed.

I’ve worked for a large publicly traded arm of a multinational for years, and most years we didn’t get squat. Enjoy the bonus, no doubt it was earned - all workers deserve more than they get.

I guess you aren’t getting a bowling alley.

funny story that... im finishing the last of me beers today

chucked em in the shed last sunday

farscy aint drinking at home no more (but the work do got me started...and i knew i still had beer in the shed..so today is a loss)

but yeah... turns out i can not drink just fine (cant sleep for shit...but thats kinda why i started drinking to begin with)

its drinking in moderation i suck at...

so yeah.. from here on im a drinking in the pub or not at all boi

(thats also why ive been kinda quiet lately)

I sometimes feel like I *only* know obscure facts. And then they never ask the right questions...

I’m  far from the best on our team, but I'm almost always the one for science and math. Sometimes geography, too, and obviously cars.
